Description

Marquesas Keys -

22 miles west of Key West
This beautiful Atlantic Ocean atoll is a National Wilderness Area, bird sanctuary, and was once a “Survivor” reality show locale. Large spurs of coral range between about 5 to 35 feet of water, and many areas are ideal for snorkeling. Ten islands comprise the atoll, the only one in the Atlantic, is believed to have formed due to meteor impact instead of the usual volcanic activity.
